When I quit my job at the Department of Veterans Affairs in 2019, it wasn’t because I was mad at anyone at that moment.
It was simply that I was dealing with life.
My daughter needed more support.
I don't believe in sacrificing my child for the sake of a j o b. Plus, being a present parent is one of my key values.
I quit my federal job, homeschooled my daughter, and began on my full-time entrepreneurial journey.
Starting my own business allowed me to be a present parent, live purposefully, provide financially, and be philanthropic.
